SYDNEY – A FIVE-YEAR-OLD Australian boy died after his mother allegedly put the heroin substitute methadone in his drink to treat a cough, a report said on Thursday. Named only as Christopher, he was found dead on Wednesday morning despite desperate attempts to revive him, the Adelaide Advertiser said.
