any home remedys for home detox off methadone please help

Anyone know of any detox/methadone clinics in the Tri-Cities area of Tn (Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson CIty)? My friend (yes, really) needs to come off of some other pretty serious stuff and we can’t find any dones anywhere to help her out. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know which is safer, suboxone or methadone for detoxing from heroin, while 6 months pregnant? I am addicted to heroin, have been for a couple of years. I found out 2 months ago that I was 4months pregnant. I have tried to stop on my own, but cannot go through the withdraws from the heroin. So I have kept using. I have cut back a considerable amount. I’m only using enough to keep me from getting sick. I know someone that takes Suboxone, and can take them. I’m scared to tell the dr. that I have been using. I’m scared that she will call Child Protective services or something. I’m not really scared about them taking the child that I am pregnant with, b/c I think that I’m giving it up for adoption, but I’m scared they will try to take my 2 year old away. She was planned, and is loved very much and taken very good care of. I was thinking about trying to get into a methadone clinic, but I’m not sure how that works being pregnant, if anyone can answer any of my questions, please let me know something. Thank you.

So with the pain management doctor got all the way up to snorting 10 80’s a day and then finally one day he said, “I think you are abusing these and flat out cut me off” Talk about death. I am a 36 year old with a good accounting job with no prior history of pain med addiction. Learn to snort from internet. So after a day or two of hell, I went to the Methadone clinic. Got put on 35 up to 70 for 8 months. Ended up losing my job because I was late so many times. Now 9 moths later couldn’t afford to pay and got admin detox. 3 weeks from 70 to 0. Now I’m 9 days into detox and I’m feeling worse everyday. No sleep for 9 days and that’s why I took the perk 5’s and Vicoden to try to get one moments rest. House now in foreclosue and wife and child left thinking I’m a drug addict. All from one accident and what I think was some irresponsible medical treatment.
Any advice please. As I am losing my mind and am freezing, sleepless, and completely depressed. Cry often

Been on methadone for 5 yrs now only on 30mgs. I cant stand the side effects anymore. The weight gain, the bad skin, the teethe rotting etc.. Wanna switch to subonxone cause it doesn’t have side effects and easier to detox off of. BUt, i am scared and need to know if i will be okay, is this the right decision or should i just detox off methadone (could take another 6 months or more )
