the death tolling is rising, 24 hours after my family member took the drug they passed out in there sleep and died. i was just wondering if this happend to your family.

hi there i have been on methadone for over a year methadone is for people addicted to opiates the only way some one could die after taking it would be for instance say they dont take opiates aka pain killers oxy’s,moraphine ,dillaudid etc..and of course heroin.but if they dont or were not addicted to opiates and took methadone they could die from the smallest dosage,thats why not just anybody can take it.also methadone is to help people with severe pain.also if you mix certain other drugs with methadone it can be lethal like certain valium pills cannot be taken with it because you could die in your sleep …example serax aka ozasapams..another possibility is if the dosage is too high fo rthe person that could also be lethal as well.i hope this bit of info helps you..sorry to hear about your family member ..thats sad
