The first thing is the standard test looks for 5 specific categories of drugs (“SAMHSA 5″/ “NIDA-5”).
Cannabinoids (marijuana)
Cocaine (crack, benzoylecognine)
Amphetamines (amphetamines, methamphetamines, speed)
Opiates (heroin, opium, codeine, morphine)
Phencyclidine (PCP)
But an expanded test includes a few additional drug classes :
Hydrocodone (Lortab, Vicodin)
Benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, Librium, Serax, Rohypnol)
Methadone
Ethanol (Alcohol)
etc…
