In December, ARCS suffered yet another budget cut – this time, on our contract which supported our Health and Wellness program. The H&W program, as it was known, provided HIV prevention education and prevention case management services in the ten methadone clinics in the Hudson Valley. Sadly, the program closes on March 31, 2009. We held a farewell party at our Hawthorne office on March 13th to honor the four remaining employees of this program – some of whom have worked with us for nearly two decades! Here’s a little video tribute to their contributions to ARCS over the years. Thanks to Paul Moccio for compiling this slide show. Maureen, Rosemary, Barbara and Laverne – we will miss you…
