Why Do People Always Say That Weed Is Dangerous Because It Can Be Laced With Other Drugs?

Question by Ricky: Why do people always say that weed is dangerous because it can be laced with other drugs?
You probably know what I’m talking about. All those idiotic, raving, anti-drug, propaganda-spewing morons. One of their major arguments is that weed is dangerous because it can be laced with other drugs like cocaine, heroin, crack, PCP, MDMA, hydrocodone, codeine, flunitrazepam, and methadone. First of all, why the hell would any drug dealer in their right mind waste their money on expensive ass crack or heroin and mix it in with pot? If they’re trying to cut weed with something else, they’re going to use oregano. Second, I listed 10 of the most common drugs and all 10 of those drugs are white. Weed is dark green, purplish, or brown. Anyone who isn’t blind would notice white powder or rocks laced in with their dark green weed.

What did we learn today? The argument “weed is dangerous because it can be laced with other drugs” applies ONLY in the following situation: A very stupid drug dealer sells some weed laced with other drugs to a blind pothead.

Leslie, are you aware of the definition of “cut”?

The reason people say that is because it’s TRUE!
I’ll just say “been there, done that.” I understand what you’re saying – that it’d be inefficient and uneconomical for one to “cut” his marijuana with something more expensive. But the truth is, you may not always know what you’re looking at. Example: really good pot has crystals all over it – who’s to say you don’t go to a dealers house looking to buy a ton of it (meaning you have buttloads of cash on you) and he pops something nasty in it, offers to let you “try before you buy”, you end up unconscious (and god forbid DEAD) and he takes all your money AND drugs.
Ever think about that?
And if you’re SO educated on the matter, then you would know that people don’t typically cut pot — they screw you with stems and seeds, or make it wet.
What did we learn today?

LOL to cut something means to add another substance (usually cheaper and unrelated) to the drug to make it weigh more and make it seem like there is more of it, DUH. Anyone who’s listened to enough rap music would know that. (example: adding baking soda to cocaine). Please don’t be rude, sweetie. I know a lot more than I’d like to admit.
