Question by mystic: Why is it legal for doctors……?
why is it legal for doctors to prescribe speed to children (most ADD and ADHD drugs) methamphetamine to cancer and other chronic pain victims (Methadone) opium-heroin (morphine) to pain victims, but not legal to prescribe marijuana which thus far has proven non addictive and more affective in pain control with out the side affects commonly seen in other medications prescribed by doctors?
i see some of got my sarcasm…the point people is that when there are other safe alternatives why do the government and the drug companies trying so hard to keep it out of the mainstream. money. my mother is taking ten pills three times a day four of those pills is to counteract the side affect of one of the other drugs she was prescribed for colitis. medicinal marijuana can not only alleviate her colitis symptoms that are uncomfortable but alleviate four of her current drugs that she is taking of course that means the drug company would be out hundreds of dollars because she wouldn’t need those four drugs anymore. are you even seeing the broader picture or are you stuck in the 50’s propaganda?

The other drugs have been approved by the FDA for prescription to those patients for those illnesses. Marijuana hasn’t.

doctors have the right to prescribe what they feel is appropriate for the problem
