Question by T CUSE 2: does methadone or methadose show up ona standard 5 panel urine drug test?
methadose which is pretty much the same as methadone. they use it in methadone clinics, does that and methadone show up on a standard 5 panel test. i hear it doesn’t i’d just like to know the answer for sure tho. thank you

Yes it sure does. Methadone is an opiate the same thing that is the main ingredient of heroine and morphine and Oxycontin even Vicodin.
They will all be listed as opiates without differentiating them.
So if you took a little Methadone and little VIcodin and a little Heroine. It all adds up under OPIATES.
It is very hard to get past a urine test for opiates.
I don’t know about Qtpie but I am the guy in the lab doing these tests and methadone is lumped togehther with all opiates. There is no way to separate them    Read more...

Yes, methadone and methadose show up as positive for heroin. That’s why most drug labs will retest such a sample using radio-immuno-assay (RIA) or gas chromatography – mass spectrometry (GC/MS), or both, to get a definitive result.    Read more...

Question by doug: why does suboxone make my legs swell to enormous unbearable sizes?
ive been addicted to pain medication for 20 years. from loracet to oxycontin. the only thing thats ever helped me to lead a normal life is suboxone. however, no addiction specialist will treat me with it because it makes me feet, ankles, and legs, from the knee down swell to enormous sizes. its not an allergic reaction. sometimes it takes months, sometimes days… i get it off the street and take it and just put up with the swelling. i just wanna know why? it looks like if my body could handle 240mgs of oxycontin a day it could handle 16mg of suboxone. it just doesnt make sense. i want to be off narcotics… but suboxones all that works for me. methadones just another narcotic… and it makes me swell too… id rather die on suboxone as to live trying too feed a pain pill addiction.    Read more...

Question by Chloe: Does anyone know about Suboxone and the dangers of taking it occasionally when someone can’t get opiates?
My boyfriend is an opiate addict and is mainly addicted to Heroin. He spent the night and day with me sleeping almost the whole time. He was taking Suboxone he said because it blocks the effects of “Heroin”. I’m not stupid. I’m a recovering Heroin addict myself. He’s taking the Suboxone when he can’t get Heroin. Basically, he’s taking Suboxone sometimes and Heroin the rest of the time. I think this is very dangerous. I noticed he’s also taking Flexeril, Xanax, and Soma on top of all this. He won’t listen to me and denies he has a problem. I’m only seeing him maybe 1 time a week for the sake of my own sobriety (I don’t want to hang out with his “druggie” friends) and because it is just plain annoying and sometimes scary to be around someone messed up on opiates. I’m not going to break up with him. He will eventually probably get arrested and sent to jail for a long time (he’s on probation) or OD.    Read more...
